It took me a long time but I finally got up my first YouTube Video and wow, it wasn’t easy.
This whole year has been tough as my Myalgic Encephalomyelitis has been the worst it has ever been and the energy levels have been at their absolute worst.
I really wanted to make a video to go up over Myalgic Encephalomyelitis awareness week but this illness had very different plans for me but thankfully it is now up. If you haven’t managed to see it yet, please click on the picture of the thumbnail and of course please like, comment and subscribe to my channel then share it with all your friends. All of your support means so much after all we all know how difficult this illness is.
So my first real Youtube channel had to be about something that would be useful to others with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. For years I have watched people do try-on hauls on Youtube showing off their amazing bodies in the latest clothes that stores had to offer but when your whole wardrobe consists of clothes you don’t wear already I just had to do something a little different for my first try-on haul. The only things I wear these days are pyjamas or loungewear that is comfortable enough to be pyjamas and, pyjamas that could double as leisure wear.
My Try on Haul Pyjama Edition starts with me
- unwrapping all of the pyjamas
- talking about the materials if they have pockets or adjustable waists, straps
- try on all of the PJs
- I talk a little about where I purchased them from and include the prices on the screen
- then I wash them to give you an idea of how the materials wash
- all pyjamas are linked in the video description
Pyjamas for me have to be comfortable so they cant have scratchy seams or be too tight. Most of the pyjamas I buy are larger than my normal size and I try to go for cotton especially in the summer as it is a breathable fabric.
I like many other Myalgic Encephalomyelitis sufferers or bedridden patients have sensitivities, unfortunately for me this means that before anything is tried on it has to be washed first. When filming this video I thought that trying these on quickly won’t hurt, how wrong I was.
Calvin Klein
Calvin Klein Pyjamas from John Lewis
I love these and am so happy that I purchased them. The top is a tighter fit but not in an uncomfortable way, the bottoms are a thicker material and they have pockets.
Disney Store
Over Christmas I bought 3 pairs of PJs from the Disney Shop and love them, the fit is fantastic. I do love these pyjamas but the top seems to be cut too short or certainly cut more than a little too far up for my taste.
B by Ted Baker
I ordered this pair of Pyjamas from the Next website and they have to be one of the most expensive pairs of pyjamas that I have bought for myself.
I love these pyjamas they are so comfortable being satin makes them feel a little more special.
They have pockets as well as an expanding waistband and a tie.
Marks & Spencer
I fell in love with the colour of these pyjamas and on taking them out of the wrapping I found out that the top crosses on the back. The straps on the top also have a metal adjuster so you can make the top as low or high as you prefer.
This design is also available in a pyjama top but the design is very popular so if you want this go now !!!
CyberJammies
This pair of Pjs I also got from M&S they also have other items available in the same pattern.
I love this pattern and love that this top is also adjustable. The only thing I didn’t love was the size, I bought almost all items in the same size but unfortunately this top is just a little too tight for my liking. Still love them.
Next
I order most of my PJs from Next or m&s as they have lots of different types and most importantly different price points.
I ordered these as they looked like they would be great in the summer, the type of pjs you can get away with wearing if someone is visiting.
The first thing I noticed was how thin they are and not in a bad way, perfect for the warmer weather or for taking on your holidays.
H & M
So this link isn’t for the green striped pjs as I got them before Christmas, however, H&M always seem to have a version of these available.
I have already had lots of wear out of these, they are so comfortable. The absolute best thing about them is that when you wash them they don’t even need the collar ironing down. Love them
