ME Pyjama Party – M&S

ME Pyjama Party – Outfit of the day

Marks & Spencer

Description

I absolutely love this set of PJs , I got into a bit of a rut wearing Disney characters or picking the same ones all the time because they are really comfortable. So with a wide range available at Marks & Spencer , I went for the safe option but I did go for something a little sexier than I normally go for. I’m not talking Jessica Rabbit In Who framed Roger Rabbit sexy but defiantly a world away from my Eeyore or Dopey favourites.

First of all I have to mention that they have pockets, having a pocket makes the world of difference to someone who needs help to walk. If I am using my crutches I can’t for instance hold on to my mobile or house keys. I do need to have with me my panic alarm at all times, now this does have a rope to put it around your neck but it just irritates my skin, not good.

The top has a slightly wider neckline with three quarter length sleeves which have a lace strip all the way down the arm. The length of the top is enough to cover all the bits I want hidden and not emphasised , the top itself does not cling anywhere.

The bottoms have an elasticated waistband at the rear , the front of the bottoms gives more of a flat front and a satin type thick tie so you can control the size to fit better.

Other than the pockets they are just a very plain slightly wider leg pant.

Over all I just love them they skim without clinging , they give a great shape and as I can not feel any tight or lumpy spots they just make me feel a little more confident, for however long  I am wearing them anyway .

Material

95% Viscose

5% Elastane

Lace trim 84% polyamide 16% elastane

Exclusive of trimmings

Fit

Neckline is a slightly wider cut

Three quarter length sleeves

The top hits just below my hips

Elasticised waistband

Drawstring so you can adjust to your comfort

The length is perfect for me, it hits long enough to cover my ankles but not too long that I am tripping up or standing on them,

I am 5ft 4 inches and wearing a UK Size 16

After the wash

It wouldn’t be a real review without telling you a little more.

As the Pyjamas are loose all over they were very comfortable even after a full nights sleep. I suppose for me Pyjamas are so much more as it is all I wear , like now for instance I am lay writing this update wearing the very same pair of PJs we are talking about , even when I am moving things on the screen the sleeves are staying exactly where they should be.

They have been washed twice now and the only washing directions I gave to my Husband was to wash them inside out. They were put in with a normal dark wash at 30 degrees.

As I have lots of sensitivities I have to ensure all of my clothes are washed in Fairy and using Fairy for fabric softener too.

Sorry slight diversion but I want to include everything.

When my Hubby took them from the washing machine he laid them over the maiden and he didn’t even need to go over them with the iron .

Summary

These are one of my favourite pairs of PJs , they just feel so comfortable. While the weather is slightly warmer here in the UK having lightweight PJs is exactly what you need. That’s not to say that I would write these off when it gets a bit colder, these are the type of PJs that look great with a cardigan put over and some fluffy socks to keep out the cold,

Taking into account the fit, the wear and how they washed I have to give these PJs 10/10
