I truly can not believe that it is February already. More specifically I can’t believe that it is the 25th February and this is my first post of the year.
Welcome
If this is our first time meeting then Hi and welcome to my page. I have a life that is a little tipsy turvy due to suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Endometriosis and DeQuervains syndrome in both of my hands. Being so ill leaves me completely bedridden the most I can get about is 8 steps to my bathroom with support. It’s hard and extremely lonely. I try to share as much of my life as possible in the hope of raising awareness and my goal now is to make a real difference in the lives of others. So again welcome 🫶

Happy New year
2023 and the end of 2022 has been really tough and all that I had plans to do for the Christmas period are now plans for Christmas 2023. With a view of growing as a person I have to be ok with that, I have to allow my body to rest when it needs to and thankfully I have a family that is able to accept that too.
While Christmas at home was quiet being able to still have a Daughter who thinks that our family Christmas is the best place in the world to be. Our Christmas morning always starts very early but knowing that I was able to find almost everything our Daughter put on her Christmas list I really couldn’t wait to see her beautiful face.
Alfie
If you have seen any of my pictures or videos then you will know that I love my dog. Not just a little he is my best friend in the world and has been right by my side on good or bad days. I am convinced that he is a gift sent by God. I’m getting side tracked a little but I do believe that this will make anyone smile.
Alfie is a huge part of my family and so he deserves gifts on Christmas morning. To see his little tail wagging with excitement as I’m shouting around the house that Santa Paws has been you would think that he understands exactly what that means.
When Alfie was a puppy we included him and he loved it, by his second Christmas he had figured out exactly what gifts are his, each Christmas this got funnier.
Christmas morning with Alfie is like being with the happiest toddler on earth who would love you with all his heart even if you had wrapped him an apple, crossed with the Duracell bunny. In our house you do your stocking first and then I have to literally hold him back so we can give Our Daughter a gift then back to him. Somehow he knows exactly what gifts are his and on his turn he gets a gift from under the tree, then unwraps it himself. Just like an excited child sometimes he needs a bit of help so he will bring it to me or my Husband, once opened he then runs off to see his new toy.
Once he knows what the toy does, how it squeeks or how tasty it smells he will bring it over to me to show me what he got. Then of course he has to give out kisses, he truly is the sweetest, funniest, loving dog and I know just how lucky I am to have him.
Christmas for Alfie doesn’t end with gifts he has to have a full Christmas dinner with his family
I could talk about Alfie all day but instead I shall end this here and instead include updated links which will help you keep up with our little family 🫶
